The Web Summit 2022 in Lisbon is over. The event attracted 71,000+ attendees over a total of four days, according to its own information. From November 1 to 4, companies, startups and entrepreneurs in the field of technology from all over the world came together to talk about the future of the tech industry.
Along with seven other hubs, the MediaTech Hub from Potsdam was also on site as part of the Digital Hub Initiative (de:hub). And among the 39 startups from the de:hub cosmos, five teams from the portfolio of the MediaTech Hub Accelerator – CI Hub, Freque, Klangchat, promiseQ and yoona.ai – were also represented at the Web Summit.
About the Web Summit
Web Summit is an annual tech conference held in Lisbon, Portugal. Founded in 2009 by Paddy Cosgrave, David Kelly and Daire Hickey, Web Summit was originally held in Dublin, Ireland, until it moved permanently to Lisbon in 2016.
The topics of the conference are focused on Internet technology, new technologies and venture capital. Web Summit partners range from Fortune 500 companies to startups, with participants representing all levels and sectors of the global high-tech industry.
