Review | Innovation @ Babelsberg

The results of a new site survey on the economic situation of Babelsberg as a media location commissioned by the MediaTech Hub Potsdam were presented yesterday at the Babelsberg Medieninnovationszentrum Babelsberg (MIZ) as part of the new series of events organized by the Strategy Circle for Media and Technology “Innovation @ Babelsberg”.

The study was conducted by House of Research and the Potsdam-based company transfermedia production services. A central point is, “that we have to see that we manage a settlement offensive [at the location] – between companies, institutions, politics and investors,” says Peter Effenberg (transfermedia production services and shareholder of MediaTech Hub Potsdam). The results of the study form the starting point for further discussions about intelligent settlement and marketing policies around the planned construction projects at the Babelsberg location.
